Imagine a tote that looks kind of like this: http://www.promotional---items.com/canvas-bags/images/hand-bags.jpg

But with a dark brown leather handle and dark brown leather bottom (like the very bottom of the bag, underneath the bag).  And the dark green is actually the normal off-white oatmeal canvas colour.

What should I do to it do make it more interesting/attractive?  It's already quite attractive b/c of its leather handles, but what can I do to make it really unique?

Maybe a leather, cloth or leather, blank space, mosaic looking design/applique on the front. I am thinking of a sun, with rays and facial expressions in the leather and the face in off white or another color fabric, if you want. That is just a suggestion, but you could play with pieces of leather or any other kind of applique. Good luck and post what you wind up doing.
