This is my sons bedroom makeover.  He was so patient.  I have lost the before pics as my computer did the old crasharoo.   Anyway, he picked 2 bright blues for paint and I had to work around it.  He likes big cats, goth stuff, japenese things, and blue.  So this is what it turned out like.

I have to add a shot with my girl dog.

There's a lot going on here, but I love it! You did a really great job.  How did you get the walls to have a gold sheen?

Thanks!  What I didn't say was how horrific it was...picture tan paneling and industrial carpeting.  It was so bad, that kid never complained a bit.  He is a great kid.  I covered the paneling with wallpaper paste and ripped up paperbags to create a sturdy, smoothish surface without ripping down the paneling. I used a stencil for the stripes.  The gold sheen is from damp sponging gold glaze all over it.  It was a longer process than just painting it, but the results are one of a kind.
I just wish it would stay as neat and clean as in the photo's.  That boy is a P-I-G.  LOL.  I just love that line.  He is just a really, really messy teenager!

Thanks for the feedback!

Wooooow, I can't quite put a finger to what the feel of this room is, but it's like it has a character all its own. Like from a book almost.

Thanks!   Spunky7098, sadly so far it is a fail on the clean  Sad.  Retro_Rose,  it does feel like a live illustration, thanks!
I forgot to add that the  "border" on the walls is really just garden fence border, black plastic.  We used construction adhesive to put it up there.
