There's always the possibility to negotiate something with your partner. I tend to do sets of somethings for large items or swap it out for two mediums because "large" scares me too.

*pokes thread*
I'm still interested in this swap, but I'm leaving in a month so I'm guessing it won't be up in time for me to join... would anyone be interesting in doing it over the summer? starting in june perhaps?

Sounds good. I got swamped by life/swaps so I figured it'd be a bad idea to try to start something up. But I'm up for a swedish or nordic swap this summer instead.

I would love to participate...I live in the US though. I really would love to join though, although not full blood Swedish, it is the biggest part of my cultural background (for a mutt like me). Consider me?Huh

The idea of this swap is not about nationality or cultural heritage (we would not be crafting Swedish-themed things) but rather to keep postage low by sending to people in the same country. When you live in Sweden swapping can get very expensive, because international postage is so expensive here... So this swap is only to make it a little cheaper for people who live IN Sweden to swap!

However, the last time we did a Sweden swap there were some people from the US who said the same thing as you, so I would suggest that you start an international Sweden-themed or "craft my heritage" type swap instead. I'm sure you could get some joiners. Here is an old (2008) craft challenge thread about the same thing: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=238492.0

Starting a swap in June sounds awesome! I'll be finished with all my exams and have plenty of time to craft..

I was in the Swedish (nordic?) swap last time, and it was nice to connect a little with other Swedish swappers. And I had a good swapping experience, which was kind of rare.. Smiley I actually stopped swapping since I had so many bad experiences, but I'm hoping to start it up again!

Just a heads up: Since you have a couple of negative ratings, you'll probably need to angel to be considered for another swap. If round 3 isn't starting until June you might still have time, but I'd start looking at the angel board just to be sure! Smiley Or of course ask the help desk if there's anything wrong with your feedback.

Subscribe to the angel forum. Most are snagged up quickly, but that way you'll get a heads up when a new topic is posted.

Maybe you have already checked this, but you could always look into resending to your original partner? But I guess much can have happened since 2006.. Cheesy
