I got my package from my awesome swap angel shortern!  It was so great.

all the goodies outside the ball of yarn.

an adorable knit scarf, cowl, neck thing.  i love it and it's very soft!

Star Trek insignia washcloth.  I have two of these now!

A beet from Dwight Schrute!  Smiley

Oh, and one thing I forgot to take a pic of was a little dragon that you put in water and it gets bigger and bigger.  But everything was so amazing and I love it.  Thanks again for being an awesome angel!

Yay! I'm so glad we found you such an AWESOME Angel! That washcloth is sweet.. kinda want one now >.>

So we've just got one package still out there.. stranded in Jersey, it looks like. I'm going to PM the Swap Mods probably tomorrow to square away the other little issues that have popped up during the swap. Hopefully they'll have an answer about what to do with the Jersey package.

Till then, everyone send good mojo to the package to see if it can find it's way outta Jersey!

Just your average knitting whore.

*Sends good mojo to package* - Mojos were a brand of sweet here in the 80's...

Ooh, that Brea bag is gorgeous!  Such a perfect colour, and I like the handle too.  Wisted.

I received late last week, but by no fault of my partner! Things were out of her control and everything she sent made up for the delay! Ariethine, you are amazing!

To start off, the TWO MYBs she sent! The black and white on the smaller one is actually a bag wrapped around a silver yarn that is unbelievably soft!

Inside the ball was an awesome gray slouchy beret/tam with beautiful stitching around the edge. And excuse my lack of makeup hehe! It was a lazy sunday!

A cute little rag-doll/mummy guy! I love that him!

Two necklaces and two bracelets(one of each is blue while the other is green(my favorite!)), matching keychains for my boyfriend and I, and two of my own keychains. I really like the one with the net around the marble!

Three crocheted pouches of varying size.

Two wrist cuffs. Which fit perfectly!

Two flower brooches. These are amazingly made. So intricate looking (I have no idea if it really is or not Tongue )

An origami box accompanied by two paper cranes. I'm digging the print on them!

A few bookmarks, a pencil, and a crochet hook(hopefully this will further fuel me to try my hand at crochet!)

A bag of buttons and some gum.

And finally a picture drawn by Ariethine herself!

I love, love, love everything! I'm so grateful to have had such an awesome partner!

That little doll is adorable! And I love the drawing.

In official swap news, we've got one last package out in the ether. Everyone's feedback is in, expect for riffsrevenge and bubblegum_phoenix. Got a PM in to the mods about both those situations.

On a personal note, I want to thank all of you for being such a fantastic group of swappers. This was my first time organizing and I think, thanks to you all, I've managed to do a pretty good job. I was a bit overwhelmed when I'd realized we were going to have 42 swappers, but I think that I got the best swappers that the Craftster community has to offer (don't tell my future swappers I said that). I loved every single Magical Yarnie Ball of goodness that we created and I can't wait to see what the next round produces. I sincerely hope that I get to participate in future swaps with all of you, in any capacity, and look forward to seeing all of you around the forums, as we lurk in crocheted and knitted threads.

Round 13 will be opening sometime this weekend, soon as I sort out my inbox... and sign-ups are going until April 1st or... 30 swappers. Whichever comes first. It looks like it's going to be as in demand as this round's, so we'll see what mayhem happens.

YAY! I'm so glad that it finally showed up! I didn't doubt riffsrevenge for a second (though maybe the Postal Service).

Alright folks! Round 13 should be opening either tonight or tomorrow. I'd do it right now, but I'm sitting in a conference that has very very slow internet.

Also, it looks like I might be organizing another swap at the same time, for making DIY kits. See you all around!
