Seriously awesome package!!!!!  That bowl is such an awesome idea, there are so many times when that would be soooooooo useful.  I have that katamari pattern bookmarked, but haven't made it yet, maybe it is time to revisit it.............  Man, such great stuff in this swap!!!!

Love the cat pix--but WISTED that bowl. That is SO cool! taking something you worked hard on & most people would toss it when it cracked & you in turn created something totally useful out of it. & then to add chalkboard paint! that so KEWL!

So i have been super late in sending my ball of yarn but for good reason!!
Here is why!

She was born 3 weeks early and got things a little backed up!
I have my box ready to sent and will be doing so come tuesday. And as soon as i can get photos off of the camera i will post what she has send me which is super awesome and i got it while i was super stressed at the hospital and it was super calming..

I finally have photos of the yarn ball Jane Doe sent me. (no wrapped pics, I took one with my mobile but I can't get it off at the moment, hubby has absconded with the cable and I don't like my chances of getting it back)

The ball was wrapped in the green yarn, with a pattern for felted slippers. She included a pattern for baby booties to make with the (vintage) blue yarn, it is inside the folder with the other pattern. On the pattern is a stitch marker and a dichroic glass button (I LOVE glass) and a  pink/red batt (must learn to spin, although I could felt with it. (incidentally found out my Mum knows how to use a drop spindle when she admired the swap package. Unfortunately she doesn't have her drop spindle anymore, but yay! I now have someone who can show me in person))
Ribbons (I am a huge ribbon addict) and lace, wrist cuff, Aussie flag stickers, lollies, some lovely silky yarn, brooch, roving in a record bowl (always secretly wanted one of these) and a magazine.

Thanks Jane Doe

She's adorable! Don't worry about posting the pics if you can't find the time, your partner offered to post some for you.

I love that roving! I just started spinning with the help of Miss Doe and I'm finding it addicting!

That's a pretty big reason to be late! She's adorable! Congrats!

All the yarn balls look great! The next round with the themed balls sounds like fun too!

Snaps, your daughter is gorgeous! Congrats again!  ...and just let me know if you want me to post pix for you.  I didn't get pictures of everything, but I have some of the key pieces.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.
