My father only drives a motorcycle, but it is an old one and he needed a new saddle cover. He first tried it himself with some black pleather. But looking back at it it was doomed to fail because the pleather was way to thin and the cats in the neighbourhood decided that they had a new scratchpole. So when I found some upholstery pleather in a remnantbin at a refurnisher, I decided to make a new one for him.

There are still some mistakes, but in the end I was pretty pleased with the outcome. And so was my father.

Pictures of the saddle back on the motorcycle will come later.
