I am wanting to make some beaded soother clips and am searching the internet high and low to make sure all my materials are lead free. I just found out swarovski crystals contain lead! Good thing I only ordered a few. Does anyone know of an alternative to swarovski crystals that are lead free? I realize I won't get the swarovski sparkle, but that's ok. I would like something similar in shape and overall look as I only use a few of them on the strand and think they make the clips look especially blingy and cute for little girls.
Also, is anyone aware if Metallite beads are lead free? I've contacted the company and am waiting on an answer but wondered if anyone here would know. I am looking for lead free alphabet beads and so far I've only come across the sterling silver ones which cost a pretty penny!
