Inspiration struck a few weeks ago for creating this bag. I pulled out my trusty sketchbook and plotted the design out. The mug bottom is an octagon shape to keep with a Beer mug shape. I think this is going to be perfect for my Girls Weekend trip for St. Patty's Day weekend!

The lining has shamrocks & Frogs, some of which have beer mugs Grin

That's awesome! I had no idea it was a purse from the thumbnail. The handle you used is perfect!

Glad you guys like it, I'm really proud of how it turned out. It's one of those projects that turned out exactly how I pictured in my head  Cheesy

My hubby thinks I need to make a guiness one too, so maybe I'll have to work on one at some point. I just happened to have some fabric the right shade of golden yellow for a regular beer mug on hand.

I love this. My second thought was how do-able it would be for Guinness.

This is beyond awesome!!  What a great idea.  If you sold these at the Great American Beer Festival you could make a killing- I had a million offers for my earrings that I made to look like beer mugs!  Good job!

This is so fun! The handle is perfect, as someone else mentioned...I'm seriously thinking that I need to make one for St. Patricks day , if we go to New Orleans again! I'm thinking, green, as in 'green beer'...LOL Loving it!! Great idea...and btw, I agree, you could really rake in some serious money with these! Smiley

Very clever! And, for the men, perhaps attach it to the belt like they do steins at ren-fairs?
