hi!

I'm throwing a baby shower (today actually!) for my good friend Mrs Z. They wanted to name their bump but didn't want it to be anything they had heard other people calling theirs so they named her Little Miss Z. For the baby shower I made her bunting with Little Miss Z on it so they can explain it to their little girl when she's older. I also didn't want to be making clothes etc since they got tonnes and tonnes of them from other people and I thought this was different.

Mrs Z is decorating the room with Red gingham so I bought some matching material, cut a cardboard template out and got sewing! The backing is just plain cream linking material from Ikea (1.99 a metre!) which I cut to match the front and made a big strip for the top which is longer at the side so it can be tied or pinned up. I cut letters out from felt and machine stitched them on in red for contrast. Anyway, have a look at the pictures and let me know what you think! (I have to pos them as URLs, sorry!)

Prior to sewing it all together

And all sewin up at the end:

She'll be getting it in half an hour - her's hoping she likes it!
