where did you get the fabric for the lining?? At first I thought you had real apples in the bag.  My sister just bought a house and she is decorating her kitchen with apples and I would like to make her something with this fabric.

By the way, love the bags.

I totally thought you had stuffed that first bag with gorgeous red apples!  Took me a minute to figure out that it was the lining!  Great work - I keep telling myself I'm going to make some bags for the grocery, but haven't gotten to it yet.  So far, though I have bought a coupel of reusable bags from Barnes and Noble - nice, big and sturdy.  I might just be lazy and stick with that!

Yes, where DID you get the lining?  Love it.  I got fooled too and thought you put apples in the bag to show it off.   Nice work.

I know that fabric.com has the lining.  I think it's from the farmer's market collection.  Although, I can't think of who the designer is.

Thanks guys. Lol -- I know -- the apples are very realistic.

I did get it on Fabric.com and I believe it is called Farmer's Market or something similar (just search apples on that site and it will likely pop up).  Loved the fabrics and bought the apples, pea pods, cucumbers and blackberries.  They also have potatoes and garlic and a bunch of other farm-y stuff.  Was a bit pricey at over $8/yard...but I really love it.

You can put the kittens in the oven; but that don't make 'em biscuits.

OOO I love them! When I saw the photo as an icon, I thought it was actual apples in the bag Smiley
They are very cute and plastic/paper bags can be such a pain at farmers markets...I was thinking about making something similar for the market and flea markets Smiley
