Wow.  This book is absolutely AMAZING Shocked!  All of the colors and textures that you included are blowing my mind!  I think the octopus is my favorite.  This book will be treasured, I'm sure.

This is brilliant!  The different materials & textures are great.  Looks like it was a lot of fun to do.  And I love the 'super duper' font - very cool!

Oh my stars!
That is the most exquisite, imaginative execution of this idea I've ever seen! REAL FEATHERS!  Newt under a rock! Oh my goodness! I LOVE IT! (and my daughter is expecting a baby in May....it will remain unnamed for a while yet... but I'll be watching Etsy)

That being said, I'm not sure that this would be completely safe for a baby without very VERY close supervision...did you consider the possibility of eyes and beads and stuff coming off under direct assault?

kittykill, it's an honor for you to compliment my work (i love the fact that mods come in and look at posts and really take the time to make someone feel good about their work!)--thank you so much!

twilightmiracle, you are so sweet--thank you Smiley

mcjulie-o, thank you for your compliment! i'm excited for your daughter--my boyfriend's sister is expecting another baby in september, so i'll probably make another book for her newborn Smiley  and also, thank you for the constructive criticism! fortunately, i did wonder to myself if the googly eyes, beads, and feathers would come off under the ravaging of baby spit, newly grown teeth, and prying fingers... i actually almost stopped embellishing because of it.  but then when i told my boyfriend about the catch 22, he came up with the banner idea! this way, under a parent's discretion, the name book could be used as a banner until the child was old enough to not put the book in her mouth and feel the feathers instead of ripping them off. whew! i certainly don't want to create any choking hazards for the little ones--thanks for thinking ahead with me! Cheesy

That's really cute. I can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into it and the effect is stunning. I'm sure he loved it Smiley.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.
