I am really loving the sound of this swap. I would love something I could frame for my work area or my son's room. If, of course, I can think of just one favourite story!

You could also choose a poem or nursery rhyme  Smiley

I hope I can join this swap! I just need to finish crafting for another swap, so I have time for this...

I love the idea of combining artwork from different people to form a story.
This is somewhat unrelated, but back in high school my teacher made us write 2 lines of a poem, covering the 1st line by bending the pg over and then passing it around the class, the next person writing the next 2 lines, and so on. Each person would keep folding the pg down so that they couldn't read anything except the last line before their turn. When it finally reached the 1st person again, we unfolded the pg and we each had a long poem that didn't exactly make sense, but was very entertaining and unique. You could see a bit of the personality of each student in their handwriting and poetic style, and bringing all our thoughts together in one poem was really special. It's still one of my treasures. Now a favorite story illustrated by different crafters...that would be awesome  Smiley

I'm having fun reading through all the stories you guys are choosing  Smiley I really hope some more people sign up, but I think we have enough people to work with if no one else joins. There are still 5 more days though, so hopefully we'll get a few more people to join! Does anyone think I should extend the signups? Or should we just go with who we get by the 31st?

If you want to extend the sign-up you'll have to send me chamomille tea or something  Grin I'm really impatient to start this swap but I'll manage to wait if it means more people can join the fun Grin

I was thinking of that too, and you're welcome!

(: I wouldn't mind a sign-up extension, but I don't want to hold you guys up. I'll try my best to make the deadline...

I've got plenty of tea over here, although I'm very excited to get sketching. I went out and got some new pens yesterday and they are so much fun I can't wait to put them through their paces.
