I was given a 30# bag of alpaca fur that I have started carding (badly) and have no idea what to do with it.  I have about 10#'s of white, 5#"s of deep burgundy, 10#'s of tan, and 5#'s of gray.  I need to learn how to spin this stuff before I end up stuffing a pillow with it just to be done with it, lol.  Count me in!

OOOh!! I've been telling my hubby how much I'd love to learn to spin. I knit and would love some homespun yarn.

You guys, learning to spin is one of the best things I have ever done.  It is so fun and rewarding.  It really IS cheap to get started.  I started with $2.50 in roving and a toy wheel spindle.  Heck, I once saw (on Craftster, I believe), someone spin with a screwdriver and a rubber band. Cheesy

I would love to learn how to spin!  I've been thinking about trying it out for awhile now but I'm too intimidated.
