My sewing fairy.  The idea came to me as I was falling asleep. I'd had the fairy done in college, and almost 10 years later, was thinking about doing a cover-up.  I woke up from a doze thinking, "Aha! She should be holding a button! (before it was sort of an orb-thing) And sitting on a spool!" and three days later, she was made eversomuch more beautiful and relevant. The artist who added the spool and button touched her up a little, but I like that she seems so ephemeral compared to the shiny newness of the spool.  Let's pretend I did that on purpose, k?

You can see the diference between the old and the new, I think they mix quite nice, luv the buttons n the spool, and her wings look cute too, im not in to fairies myself but its a nice work!

still have one more session to go to color in the fabric. It is on my upper thigh on the side. I think the pin cushion is my favorite part =)

Love that sewing machine! I'm about to get my chest piece done, it's gonna be a ball of yarn in the style of a sacred heart. I can't wait! Til then here are my knit and purl knucks:) sorry for the pictures, it's pretty hard to take pics of your own hand
