My boyfriend and I moved in with his parents not too long ago and we have an upstairs bedroom and the adjacent bathroom to ourselves. The bathroom is horribly dull, and his mom insists that I cannot paint or put any nails/tacks in the wall. So I did a small cross stitch that can sit on the back of the toilet so that we can feel more at home here. And like most of the cross stitch I do for our home, it's got cuss words. Cheesy

I wish the frame had photographed better. It's a cheapie red aluminum one we got at Target for 3 bucks but it looks pretty snazzy with the plant, if I do say so myself.

I used Microsoft Paint to zoom in on the pixel of the plant from Yoshi's Island. I found it on the Spriter's Resource: http://spriters-resource.com/snes/yoshiisland/sheet/4765

I did an internet search for a free cross stitch font generator and bumped around until I found one I liked to go beside it. I eyeballed the colors from a huge stash of floss my boyfriend's mom had.

And jennilocker - this only took me the course of two days, working on and off on it. I did it to give me a break from a massive project I'm working on. Small projects like this help with impatience with some instant gratification! Smiley

I love this! We are living at my stepdads and can not paint or anything either. Maybe I just need a little embroidered fun.

This is so hilarious. Great idea to do some needlework to give the loo some personality.
