My first go at costume-making and also my first modified pattern! Was great fun to make! Used the "Lydia" tshirt pattern from Burdastyle, lengthened, added long sleeves and details.
I think that when this pic was taken, I hadn't actually sewn on the ribbon in the middle, it was just pinned.

Gotta love dressing up  Smiley

And here's one of me at a fancy dress party, eating, as always Tongue

It looks great!  The lines are simple, and the fabric choice is beautiful (I mean the way it drapes on the form).  Is it more of an emerald green or a forest green? - the pics kind of fuzzy.

Thanks! Sorry about the slightly bad pictures. I just put another one up of me actually wearing it, it's kinda overexposed though.
I'd say it's a forest green...ish!

Was going to do the embroidery on the bodice section, but ran out of time, perhaps a wee future project!

Very nice!  I think it looks just like her dress.  I love that you have the gingerbread man hanging out with it.

That is so cool! I always thought it would be fun to do a group costume of shrek characters.
