So, for Christmas, I made my friend a set of singlet style grocery bags (using the tutorial found here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177482.0) and I figured I'd make her some produce bags to go with them. Somewhere, I saw that someone had modified a mesh bag (Blink Tidy Totes, purchased at the Dollar Tree) by adding on a decorative fabric panel to the bottom. I was a bit worried that the panel would be too heavy, so instead I cut a stencil of the recycling symbol. I used a piece of card stock for the stencil. I slipped a piece of scrap paper into the bag and taped the stencil in place. I carefully dabbed on the fabric paint and let it dry. I didn't expect the image to be so clear on the mesh, so I'm pretty happy with how they came out. I have 2 blank bags left, so I may be making a set for myself Wink

Thanks! I was originally going to stencil fruits and veggies on it, but since I left it until the night before I had to give it as a gift, I didn't have time...
