Part of my New Years resolution was to create new fun projects, and to try and write down some patterns. I came up with this idea after I saw one, only knitted. I wasn't sure as I was making it, but now that I look at the pictures, I really like it. lol.
If anyone wants a pattern, let me know, I'm sure I can make some sense of my notes.

**PATTERN**
This can basically be used with any cowl pattern. I just did a few rows of SC, enough to make the mustache, then I switched to DC and TR. I will post the pattern as I made it though, and feel free to use it with any cowl pattern you would like.

Let me know if it is too confusing. This is mostly just for the chart, but if you need any help, let me know.
I used LoenBrand Thick-n-Quick and a size K hook.
1.CH 70 Turn, SC across.
2. SC 15, switch to brown(see chart below)3 brown sc-1 white sc-3 brown sc-white across
3.SC across following chart-remember, you're coming from the opposite way, so you'll have to do more than 15 SC like row 2.
4.SC across(see chart)
5.SC across(see chart)
6.SC across(see chart)
7.SC across(see chart)
8. SC across all in white.
Switch to N hook
9. DC across
10. TR across
11. TR across
12. TR across
13. DC across
14. TR across
15. SC across

For the button holes, I just chained big enough for my button to go through, and sewed those on. I actually just screwed it up because I forgot to add button holes as I was making it. lol.
I would love to see if anyone makes one!! Mine has already got plenty of use this winter. I love going incognito where ever I want.

Comments and critiques welcome!!
