Yay!  I'm glad you like it.  The artwork is from an artist named Daniel Meriman.  I had a 2008 calender of his work, and it was too pretty to toss, so I've been making things out of it!

I've always wanted to visit Germany, and I've hosted quite a few German tourists at my apartment, but that cool postcard makes me want to just go and take in all the rustic beauty

It is a cool postcard of a historical place in her town, which had Milton Berle and Laurel and Hardy play there, then was used as a morgue in the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918..Thanks for much for the interesting card! It makes a great addition to my collection

I'm glad you like the postcard, gerbilgal!! At the moment Marburg looks exactly like on the card - covered in snow. We haven't had that much snow since ages! I love it. You should all come and visit Marburg

I love viewing all of these postcards! I especially love hearing the history behind some of them. Sometimes it's so cool to hear about other places after you'vve lived in one state for so long.
