The crocodile postcard is awesome! Also, I really dig the vintage postcards that Emily_Rohr sent out! I have a special place in my weird heart for all things quaint and odd Smiley

I hope that folks receive my other packages soon! I really enjoyed looking through my stuff and finding things that other people would enjoy and even display elsewhere around this globe!

For now, all my stuff is in a box, but my husband has recently been putting all of his postcards in a frame. When he's finished, I"ll put up a picture of his! He collects images from the labor and civil rights movement, and other random stuff too.

I had to make that disaster postcard from a photograph. An actual postcard is very expensive. I totally forgot to mention that it wasn't an earthquake but a tornado (which just as bad) that hit my hometown of Lorain Ohio in 1924. It was one of a line of tornadoes that day. Look it up. It was bad.  The scene is downtown Lorain on Broadway. It was one of the worst in Ohio history.

I received my postcard from SimplyFabulous! today.  Smiley  Isn't it pretty?  The building was built in 1882 as a PumpHouse to fight fires, but now serves as an art gallery.  I love when beautiful old buildings can be repurposed.  Cheesy

Glad you like it Jennie, its one of my most favorite places in town.  We are going there Saturday to take an origami workshop.

The link to the Ohio severe weather website is fascinating (I live in Ohio too).  I had never heard of the Lorain tornado, we usually hear so much about the Xenia tornado in 74.  And of course no one can forget the Blizzard of 77-78.

Here is the beautiful card I received from Jennie.  Isn't it gorgeous?

And this is the card I received from aprilagain.  It is the fountain outside the chapel at the Civil Rights Memorial.  I bet it is gorgeous in person.  I love the quote on the fountain "Until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream" Martin Luther King Jr.

Thank you both!
