Deftann's pictures are much much nicer than the ones I took with my dying camera, so I will leave it at that.  I am so glad the mittens fit and are functional!  And to answer questions, the octopus teapot is just a sort of figurine thing.  If I had more time and access to a kiln, I might have tried for something functional, but all I could get was Sculpey and I don't really think it's foodsafe.  And pseudo_pix - re the mitten pattern, I sort of made it up as I went along.  I made the cable cuffs separately with a provisional cast-on, then grafted them and picked up stitches around the edge to start the mitten.  I basically followed this pattern from that point, except for the parts where I eyeballed measurements instead of actually measuring.  I have a terrible tendency to knit by the seat of my pants, so to speak.
The other packages look gorgeous too, everyone's goodies look delectable and the crafting is all top-notch! I am all atwitter to get my package, everything that's been posted looks so enticing.

Oh and the coco and Marshmallow were stolen by my DD she hasn't gotten my hot coco yet! I'll fight her for it. and I might have to have fun moving the little cup and marshmallow around her room so she is never sure were it will be.  Grin(evil grin here)

I have to ask, What's a teapot octopus?
Is it because he's holding his legs like a teapot shape?

It took me a minute to see it. Two legs are forming the handle, 1 leg the spout and on top of its head the handle.  I am waiting to hear if it opens up or not.  Looks to be made from oven baked clay.  Way to cute!

Thanks to all who answered my questions for me, that's exactly right! It's been a busy weekend, but I'll get some more pics of the octopot up when I get home from work tomorrow.

And everyone's packages are great so far! I like your yellow and white scarf, Strawberryh, it reminds me of sunshine and warm weather.  Smiley
