In case you come slogging through the many many pages that will be in this thread, after you've made a pattern --- I would LOVE love to purchase a copy of this pattern from you. If you are so inclined, please feel free to send me a nudge towards Etsy Smiley

She is absolutely adorable.

This is one of the coolest things I've seen recently! I saw this on the craftster front page and had to click through as I'm a huge fan of dragons.  I love the Pern books and you did a great job not only of recreating the form of the dragonet, but also the feel of them.  I love how the texture of the crochet suggests scales.  I'm going to keep an eye on your etsy store!

She is just too cute! And being a fantasy lover, I'd love to have one myself <3  I have not read that series yet but I think I do have a volume from it (not the first one though which is why I haven't read it yet). I'll have to go pick up volume one Cheesy

I loved seeing it in the gallery. It deserves it's own post! Beautiful work as always! You should really consider writing the pattern out and selling it. I know I'd buy it!

This is beautiful! I really wish I could freeform like this, I've been trying but I really don't have the patience... I'd definitely buy a pattern for one of these. I just started rereading my copious amounts of Pern books, and I'd forgotten how much I love them, and those little dragonettes. Perfect!

Amazing!  This takes me back to my elementary/highschool years when I was reading all of the Pern books.  You did a great job.

I remember reading those books. That's so awesome that you figured how to make a dragon.
