Here's a fun little project that I threw together with a bit of glue, an unused shadow box, an old beat up copy of "The Cat in the Hat" and a bunch of little PVC characters that I got out of the vending machine in WalMart on a trip home from Vegas (hey, if you can't win at the slots, the gumball machines are a guaranteed win! lol).

Adding a touch of three dimensionality was easy with a bit of paper folded behind certain objects (such as the dresser).  And a string attached to the kite at the bottom added more 3D.

Unfortunately, this was attacked by a mouse and summarily destroyed when I had it in storage in Belize, Central America.  So I'm really glad for the photos!
