Fueled by the scent of rubber shavings....

So, being a novice stamp carver - I had confidence that I can work on tiny areas with not much trouble.  (I had a bit of practice.)  Until I decided to get fancy and carve a small portrait of a certain electric mouse.

Things that went wrong:

1)  Spilled almost 1/4 of the jar of acetone on the eraser.
2)  Using a very soft "for big mistakes" eraser
3)  Didn't change the pikachu to black and white
4)  Carved it in low light settings.

The stamp looks like a soul-sucking pikachu.  *creepy*  Pikachu!  Use soul-suck!

I handcarve stamps, knit and have organic catnip.

you should post a picture, that would be interesting to see. Pikachu is cute, but he has always looked a little creepy to me
