I did order some items from jlist, but I am not sure which items are coming from Japan. Hopefully, my partners items will be coming from US, so they make it before the swap ends. When they arrive, I will be ready to send.
I just ordered snackies from them, too!  I'm not part of your group, so I'm doing it with myself and my daughter.  I thought maybe a cool bento box would be a plain little plastic compartmentalized box that you can paint to jazz it up.  I'm thinking maybe a small floss caddy or a small tackle box.  the tackle box would make a great masculine one :p

You just have to remember, most boxes like those aren't rated for food storage. Meaning they may have things in them that you do not want touching your food...

My Swaps:

Will do personal swaps to receive fabric yardages. Also, if you are looking for costume work, I will work in trade or swap. I have an available Singer Pixie, is anyone interested?

There are a number of stacked bowl bentos. You could easily buy some plastic storage containers that are rated for food and do not have places for food to get trapped like a fishing box would. I have used a disposable version to make bentos as well. Here is a link. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=335816.0
Make a fun bag, find a fun band, or decorate with stickers.
