PirateColey, would you mind showing us a picture of how the large metal bookmark works.  I know I have no idea and I'm sure others don't either.

I imagine the long bookmark runs along the top of the book, with the page woven between the bent parts. Maybe the circle above the binding.

I did not take pictures of my bookmarks. The one to schnerby was a simple bookmark made from more of my hand woven trim. It was 1" wide and had brown and orange stripes. It was leftover from my owl bag that I sent in the fairy swap.

I love all the bookmarks... and look what I got today!

I love sewn bookmarks! I love the colors and the look of that fabric. I also love the crocheted one. That had to take some time! Thanks so much CraftyDeJa! These are great!

And since she hasn't posted the one's I sent, I hope you don't mind if I just go ahead and do it.

The ribbon one was the main one and the other two are extras. I hope you can see the corner one. It was an origami folded corner bookmark in light pink paper that had "inclusions" of flowers. I shouldn't have photo'd it on white, but oh well... Smiley

Wow, what a nice present to come home to after a day of sitting through a 5 hour faculty meeting!

Thanks for posting them, I did not take pictures. My new camera seems to only hold 3 pictures internally so I need to get a memory card. Can't believe that I can't save more than that before I have to download to comptuer.

As I told dobiemuse in pm, the saying was very much appreciated and came at the perfect time!!

The only purpose of the day job is to buy the craft supplies!! Cheesy  Seriously, I LOVE making personalized crafts. I now have a line of hand-crafted fans and notecards using the Zentangle (R) technique. I have also become a Certified Zentangle Teacher and teach other artforms and techniques.

Yay, I've got bookmarks to show off.  I love them so much, I started another book so I had a book for each of them to rest in after their long journey.

The black and white one is a metal bookmark with beads attached from AprilAgain.  It's so very elegant.

The middle one, from CraftyCarrie, is a beautiful dragon bookmark on one side the other side is a wonderful green with dofferent colored swirls.  It's a good thing my youngest daughter wasn't home when I opened it or she would have tried to run off with it.

The last is a crocheted golden snitch from angelofmusic.  My oldest saw this one and said maybe she'd start reading Harry Potter again just so she could use it.  Just to be sure she doesn't, I started it before she could get to it.  Ha!

Thank you all so very much.  All of my bookmarks fit me to a T.  I love them all and really appreciate all of the time you ladies took to craft for me.
