Hehehe... Yeah, the blue and gold "Dumbledore" bookmark was intended for you my dear, while the black and red hearts and ribbon one was intended to feed your daughter's Twilight love.  (I stalkd her up on Craftster too!)  I'm glad you like your bookmarks!!!

Alex said to thank you she really does love that one. I guess she hasn't gotten enough vampire love. actually I liked that one as well and the celtic knotwork, they are all so lovely even the tassles. You just want to fondle them.

I have an exceptionally tactile nature... even for a crafter.  I think that's why I had to become a costume designer.  It was the only way I could justify being that creepy and weird around velvet.

i am the same way. Funny thing last night a resident, 28yo, asked if there was something wrong with his hair as people kept commenting on it. He had it washed and had little ringlets. I touched it twice before I realised what I was doing.

Do you find yourself looking at the texture and cut of an outfit someone is wearing, then realise you are creeping them out?

I've gotten good at assessing people and their clothing quickly and covertly.  I am constantly taking mental notes of what people are wearing, and what I deciding what they must enjoy as hobbies, do for a living, where they live, if they have pets, etc.  I keep a mental file that I pull out when designing costumes.  The only problem is when a director says "NO ONE would ever dress like that" when I've copied something I've seen on a real person!  I assure everyone out there, truth is stranger than fiction.

Back to my China home in a few days and then to tavel; my way back to my Australia home for a bit where I will meet my new bookmarks.

Right! mine is all done, and has been popped into the post. I just hope it doesn't take longer than 2 weeks to reach it's destination!
