Bookmark Swap - Round 2 Gallery

koalascout received the bookmarks I made for her but has not located her camera, so I'm going to share some pictures I took before sending

koalascout likes native american novels, so that's the theme I ran with:



The one on the right is a little hard to see, but it is a native american girl looking up at the moon and stars, she is also wearing the purple feathers in her hair  

I also included a UFO bookmark for her son who likes to read science fiction:


And I covered the back with alien writing:

Finally the postie has come throught with the goods!! Love what he delivered.

On the left is one from Lunanne, it's paper with a beaded fringe/tassel. I can't believe she was able to pick my style from the details I gave her. On the right is one from KrisCreates, wow wow wow I can only dream of having artistic skills like this. I really like the cheely grin on the eels face.

Next on the left is a paper Alice in Wonderland book mark from Harvey, this is giong straight into my old and well read copy of Alice. On the right is from blupaisan. Again paper with fine silver thread used to make a tree, some patience was required here. I've had to hide this from my mum who had her eye on it.

the tree is silver elastic cut into many pieces and glued on. :-]

I love the idea of the monogrammed ones- it's so simple, yet classic and personal and wonderful. I'm going to have to keep that idea in mind- I make a lot of paper bookmarks as birthday gifts.

Here they are, in all their glory!!  You've already seen the lovely hemp thong beaded one that tinkstar360 posted, which is in Wicked right now.

The strawberries one is from Lydiaharper!  Did I put strawberries on my quiz?  Or are you just psychic, cause I love strawberries!!

The wonderful, super amazing Mucha inspired one is from ex_gratia.  OMG, I love it!  Such a great job!  Thanks!

And I just got a package from the UK today, and opened it up to find the most amazing Mario bookmark!!  My husband and our housemate is about to steal this from me, so I'm thinking I'm going to frame it.
