gossamer_gull I'm happy you like liked the bookmark. Your's was the first one done, I found it the easiest to make.

Now I have to apologies to stellou. I got your wonderful bookmark about a week and a half ago. I thought I had posted pictures, but I was looking through the thread and there is nothing to be found! I guess I uploaded them, but forgot to actually post the photos in the tread. I'm very sorry about this! I love you're bookmark and have been using it.

Ooo- I just adore the lady with the cats!! She's absolutely beautiful!! What a great image to use on a bookmark, though I would feel bad shutting her between the pages.

With all the craziness swap-wise last night, I almost forgot to post the bookmark I received from Schnerby last night.

She sent the bookmark in the middle (a fun textured paper that looks like it's hand dyed in some way), and a piece of beautiful paper and some bits of felt. 

The opposite side of the bookmark is a pretty thistle!

She took a few of my interests and mixed 'em together - made me giggle!

On the back there's a cute Dick & Jane illustration, that she pimped out with shiny metallic ink - tho the picture doesn't do it justice, it really shines:

I received from QuiltersBlock last night! (I too was dealing with the swap related madness, so I didn't get to post yet)

I am a Disney FREEEEAK (As you may tell just by my avatar). Soooo she made me a Mickey (my favorite character) bookmark!  



The little charm hanging says "believe" which is SO fitting as I truly do believe in Disney magic. am not 100% sure but I think it is laminated fabric? It looks that way, besides I am aware of the existence of the mickey mouse fabric but I have never seen the green mickey head fabric. Where could I find such awesomeness?

In other news(if you haven't been updated on the front page) my bookmarks to QuiltersBlock and thedreamer did not arrive with their envelopes    It is quite devistating for me as I put a lot of work into them, but I decided to redo them instead of taking the angeling route. I just REALLY hope that the other 2 arrrive safe and sound, otherwise I will just about have a heart attack   .

you might have to have them hand stamped and take them in to a post office window. (I did that with mine) they get broken or ripped out of the envelope going though the post office machiens. this can cost a little more but it keeps them safe. cute Mickey.
