Wow lots of pretties!!

Here are my first two received bookmarks!! Thank you itchyfingers (quilted) and Homer of 2 (counted cross stitch). They arrived safe and sound from Canada in record time!





My apologies to itchyfingers and Homerof2...I've been dealing with a sick kiddo and just haven't gotten online in the last couple days.    Also, my pics are rubbish. We've had fog for the past two weeks, so "natural light" has been in short supply. Really unusual for us, but there you go.

and on a craft related note I havent gotten any bookmarks yet,  I think my po hates me!

I am kind of surprised you haven't received from me yet...my po is usually REALLY fast.  Almost creepy about it   Hopefully today will be the day you get some mail!!

Look what came in through the post today

A wonderful "Pillars of the Earth" bookmark. You were bang on for the type of Church they're trying to build .


The front has got a great Gothic Church and some hand coloured Victorian people (They'll fit beautifully in the armful of Fairytales I have just invested in )
And the back has a fab hand coloured tree. (I shall try to remember the correct way to plant them if I ever fulfill my dream of growing a few fruit trees )

ANd then I got some great stickers as an extra

Ramona said they were for the children but I kept the foxes and the skeletons (I will probably use them in the tale I'll illustrate for them next month )

Did you do the cutwork or was it an applique? Now, I need another book to read. I finished the second thirst book. maybe I need to read the last book in the Firebringer/Fell collection. Firebringer was about a stag that understood human things like fire and Fell and the other book are about wolf pups with mystical powers. In all three they are fighting evil.

The tree is absolutely smashing...and the cross-stitch music and the quilted one...tbh I love them all (off to have another good look at the one I got this morning...my precioussssssssssss ssss....")

Can you tell I am a huge butterfly fan?  I can't pick one that is a favorite.  They are all so great!
