reversible bag made from two tops



choose the tops you want to use it helps if they are close to being the same size


lay the first top flat and measure out the size of the bag you want don't for get to add the seam allowance and i find it better to start with the top of the top lol as the sleeves are going to determined the width of the bag
mine is 13inch x 11inch


use the off cuts for the strap or you can use ribbons or similar


now with the right  sides together sew each part of the bag together at the sides and bottom on one and just the sides other



slip the bottomless one over the other one right sides together and pin the top opening but not were you will place the straps

 now with the pins still in place open it out like so   and place the straps were you want them and pin in place 
with the bag right sides together and pined sew were its pined 


remove the pins and pull the inside part of the bag out of the other piece lay the outer piece inside out  like so and sew the opening closed but not all the way you need to live an opening to turn it the right way

and now you can turn the right way


 and stitch the opening closed

now slip one part of the bag into the other and now you have a reversible tote made from 2 tops 

this was my first tutorial iv ever done
