I used my fused bag on an outing and no one there know what the HECK they were.  It was really fun showing everyone what it was composed of, and telling how I got it!  Smiley

I love the radish bag too!  What a great idea!  I also love how there's a fabric bag along with the market bag...I hate it when stuff pokes out of the holes!

I just wanted to say hi and that our farmer's markets are finally in full swing! Yesterday my two-year-old learned how to spit out cherry pits and had a grand ol' time doing it.

Happy summer, everyone!

Ooooo - pit spittin' age!  Smiley   Next up: watermelon seed spittin'.  That requires a bit more coordination. Hee.

My farmers' market is going great BUT we had such a cold, wet, long miserable spring... everything is delayed!  The tulips weren't around yet for the annual tulip festival, strawberries were ready for strawberry festival, etc etc.  The last May Farmers Market looked like a winter market almost!  Things have been catching up lately, but I hear the sweet corn crop is going to be delayed also, due to a late planting.  They had to let the fields dry up!

I went to a Farmers Market today actually Grin

I got tomatoes, blueberries, bellpeppers, hot peppers, corn, and apple jam.

We're having the opposite problem with the weather though as we're still in a drought. I heard today that Elijay (this town in the north Georgia mountains famous for apples) won't be having it's huge apple festival this year due to the drought killing a lot of their trees.

I went to my farmer's market yesterday and got some lovely baby potatoes, snow peas, little tomatoes, radishes and leaf lettuce. We had a really rainy time of it in late May and early June, but it's been weeks since we've had any moisture.
