I made these a while ago for my friend Marla's birthday. I was pretty happy with the result. I think she was too.
I'll write up the pattern if anyone's interested, including the mouth and teeth template.

Okay, this is my first serious attempt at writing a pattern, so I hope it makes sense to all of you! Let me know if you have any trouble or if any mistakes need to be corrected.
Materials:
Size US 7 DPNs
Worsted weight brown yarn (I used Vanna's Choice)
Stitch markers
Red and white felt
Brown thread
Sewing needle
Black buttons
CO 34 sts and divide on DPNs. (It's not necessary, but I used the tubular cast on, which looks great with the 1x1 ribbing used in the cuffs of these gloves. This is a good tutorial for the tubular cast on:

Work 18 rounds of 1x1 ribbing.
Thumb gusset: K9, pm, M1-L, K1, M1-R, pm, knit remaining sts. Work even for 2 rnds.
Continuing as established, increase 2 sts inside markers every 3 rnds 4 times. (You'll have 11 gusset sts inside markers.) Work 1 rnd even.
Next rnd: K9, place gusset sts on st holder or waste yarn, then CO 1 st over gap for thumb gusset. Knit to end.
Knit 5 rnds even.
Knit 4 rnds in 1x1 ribbing.
BO sts in pattern.
Thumb: Place sts from holder/waste yarn onto 3 DPNs. Join for working in the rnd. Begin stockinette st. On the first rnd, pick up 3 sts around the area where the 1 st was CO. Work 4 rnds in 1x1 rib. BO in pattern. Weave in all ends.
Then, use these templates to cut out red and white felt pieces for Domo's mouth:
Sew both teeth pieces onto the red mouth piece, then sew the whole mouth onto the gloves. Sew on Domo's black button eyes, and you're done!
BTW, you may want to resize the mouth and teeth to your liking. It's up to you.
