oh these are all awesome ideas! a friend of mine suggested "the magic school-bus" which i though was awesome as well. i'm still debating on what to do... but i've definitely decided its going to be a nature based, "green" design.

thank you guys so much for all the ideas so far, you guys are so inspiring! Grin

A nature based day care could have an outside garden and the children could learn where food comes from!

Does it have to be a child's daycare or can it be a doggie daycare?  Here's what I did for mine but I always thought that a retro lounge would be fun too!  Good luck!

So lots of folks have already suggested nature, but how about a tree house theme?  And I love flower's science theme.  LOL.  There could be a math corner with numbers on a board, and it such geeky fun.  Another theme would be a small town.

Another question is: could it be an adult day care? If so you could also try something based on classic black and white movies. Add some sophistication to adult care.
