So I'm participating in the "Zombie, Pirates, and Ninjas Ornaments: My weird tree for Christmas 2010" Craftalong  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=331096.0 and January being Zombie month this was the first thing that came into my head. I was inspired by martha stewarts glittered ornament frenzy from 2009 christmas(sereously it seemed like every time I looked at her website for an idea it was a smorgasbord of glittered ornaments). Glittered zombie ornaments seemed like a natural progression.

Here's the finnished product:

And here's the process:

So first I found some pictures of zombies on the interweb, and stapled the printed out picture to three sheets of drawing paper

Then I cut them out and pondered how I was going to do this

I decided the best way would be to paint on some glue thinned with water and pour the glitter on

Then I let them dry

I cut out some black ribbon I had in my stash and hot glued them onto the backs

Then I realized, what is a zombie without head wounds?Huh? so I took a tooth pick and some white glue and spread it over the parts where too much glitter came off and poured some red glitter over it

I shook it off and let it dry and now have the perfect sparkly zombie ornaments!

Honestly, the pictures don't do them justice, i'm so happy with how they turned out.
How do you guys like em?

That is quite hilarious.  I'm going to have to make some for my boyfriend and his roommate.  This year his roommate found a book of zombie Christmas carols, so I'm pretty sure they will both love these.  Great job!

Looking for postcards from anywhere to use for RSVP cards for my 8/2012 wedding.  Have 80/200.
