I've always loved sunbonnet sue, but can't sew to save my life!!  I finally sat down and tried making up a pattern in thread, then in ww yarn.  I like the ww yarn one better, but plan on making more thread ones to applique on pillowcases or maybe potholders, or dish towels.  Right now in my head, the dishtowel idea is winning!  I'm wondering if buying dishtowels break the rule on the stashbuster craftalong?  Hmmmm...  Anyway, here's the picture.

I like them both, but I love the idea of one as a dishcloth, so I'd have to say the cotton is my fav
