I was finishing up my 2009 CAL last night, and my lovely little kitten kept making it very difficult by snuggling up in the middle of it and falling asleep. In order to reclaim ownership of it I decided to make him his own little cat sized blanket

Too Small....

Much better.

He's a happy little kitty now.

Yeah well he's a good little thing, so I like to spoil him.

I based the cat face on this pot holder, then just shapped it up.

Adorable pictures!  Cute blanket!

I'm a cat lover too--I have 3--and my cats often sit in my lap, right in the middle of my current crochet projects while I work on them!  They all have their own blankets too!  I guess new yarn feels better to the kitties.

Crocheting is like prostitution.  First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.  Maybe that is why they call us Hookers?

Maybe just a giant one for all of them...
Well Lucius slept on his blanket all night, so I think he approves.  He's also very pleased with himself that everyone thinks he's cute (there'll be no living with him now  Smiley )
Just realised that I probably should have put this post in the pet craft section, so sorry if I did wrong...

Your kitty looks so snuggy! My kitty steals blankets & would probably love a blanket of his own. Too bad mine 'eats' yarn...  Undecided
I love the pattern....so cute!  Smiley

I know, he's such a little poser. If we're not paying him attention he sprawls out on the floor, strikes a pose and meows so we'll look and see how adorable he is.
