i got some action shots!  Belle wouldn't actually go in, even though i put a raisin in, but i'll try again next time.  i did get some shots of her investigating.







since i'm posting pictures....inshamb les recieved but hasn't had a chance to post pictures yet, so here's what i sent:

a spunky old broad for spunky old broad month.  i got the frame at the thrift store, i think it's perfect.



a scarf related to pet dental hygene awareness month.

Oh my gosh Belle is absolutely adorable!! I didn't realize chinchillas were so big or I would have made it bigger.
I LOVE everything you made for me, and was just posting to say I would be posting photos tomorrow. Since you already did I will post action shots. The embroidery is friggin AWESOME and hilarious, I've put it in my living room on the mantle already, the sketchbook is lovely and has found a home in my purse, and the scarf!!!! I love the scarf so much! Such a clever way to incorporate the theme. Emmett's vet is going to laugh her butt off at our appointment next week.

Love the Spunky Old Broad embroidery! Reminds me of that Maxine cartoon but it's much, much better.

Spunky old broad flipping the bird, hellz yeah! We had missionaries over tonight and at point they made me grumpy and I told them if they weren't missionaries I would totally have been flipping the bird!

chinchilla's are incredibly soft and fluffy.  it's like touching a cloud. 
whether or not they're cuddly/like being touched really depends on the individual animal.  ones that are hand raised tend to like being handled better.  i got belle from a friend, who got her from a pet store and she is not the biggest fant of being touched.  i can't hold her, and i can only pet her when she's outside of her cage (she's too defensive inside).

for celebrate love day she made me this pretty ring, which is such a coincidence because i was just making fabric flower hair pins this afternoon for thing-a-day! 


for bird watchers week she made me 2 crafts that are both just my taste.  they're perfect.
a feathered headband, almost straight off my wist


and these beautiful sparrow earrings (that are reminiscent of a pair on my wist too - ma rut stalked me good!)

btw i just want to add that this was the first and only picture i had to take of the earrings; they are so wonderful that they photographed beautifully on the first try which is pretty rare for me!

and for mint chocolate day she sent me some delicious and decadent ghiradeli mint chocolate squares that....ahem....did n't make it into the pictures.....

I have a weird irrational fear of birds landing in my hair but despite that I LOVE those earrings! The charms and beads really are beautiful. I'm sure they look great on. The ring and headband are also fantastic and just the mention of ghiradeli chocolate is making my mouth water .

ha!  i have more of a fear of birds pooping in my hair....but that's probably not so irrational, huh?  lol
