This was my first attempt at softies, and it was a lot of fun.  I found both patterns for free online.  The cat is called Pointy Kitty from Wee Wonderfuls.  The lamb is called Lambkins. I filled my little lamb with jingle bells so that he rings when you shake him.

I really recommend both patterns.  The kitty took about a half hour when I used a machine to sew, but stuffing did take a while.  Make sure you clip the pointed ends carefully so that you can turn it out all the way.  The lamb is simple and was also quick to sew up by hand.

Ooh how cute! They're so modern- they kind of remind me of the Victoria Secret little pink doggie.

And that cat would make the perfect Coraline cat with a bit of color adjustment!  Wink Wink

awww, love 'em! I looked it up, but I didn't see the lamb. I'd like to try the rabbit as gifts for Easter! Smiley

Thanks!

I fell in love with the fabric from Anna Maria Horner's Garden Party collection.  I made aprons for all the women in my family, and then made these softies for the kiddos with the scraps.

The lamb can be found on www.patternbee.com
