Another one of my crocheted caps, I used the same pattern as for my slouchy beret as the base pattern, but changed the stitches used. I will post the updated pattern later this week, if anyone would like.

I made this one while watching the Resident Evil triology.......

****PATTERN****
The combination of single and double crochet made the spiral like look.
Note: If you want a super slouchy beret, just increase....see the pattern from rows 4-10 each row increases by one. I used Simply Soft Eco by Caron which is medium weight with a K hook. I suggest using medium to light weight yarn for this as with bulky/thick yarn that the beret will become stiff. I made this in approximately four hours, while watching all three Resident Evils.
This is the perfect project for your favorite tv show marathon, movie day or trips.
Key: sc= single crochet         dc= double crochet                    sl. st.= slip stitch
fpdc= front post double crochet                                      bpdc= back post double crochet
Ch 5, join to form ring
Rnd. 1 Ch 3 sc 12 in ring (12)

Came out great! You can also crochet a flower to give it just a little more pop.
