Ok, so I'm officially crazy. As if the first two video game maps weren't enough (http://www.flickr.com/photos/cross_stitch_ninja/2588114756/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/cross_stitch_ninja/2748442627/) I just had to do another one.

You can see a larger picture here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cross_stitch_ninja/4268138823/sizes/l/.

This one took longer to finish than the other two. Partly since it was larger, but also because of school, work and me taking some time to actually play some some games too. Smiley

And of course a close-up of the stitching:

Whew, that was a lot of stitches! Now I'll go do something else for a while.

That. Is incredible! I had seen a little bit of your progress in the Nintendo/Video Game stitchalong, but wow!
Looking at the finished product, at first, I thought it was the screenshot from the game that you had used! Seriously, I'm in awe.
If only I had the patience for something like that. :]
Maybe someday. Congratulations on completing such an amazing project!

Thank you!

It took a little less than nine months to finish, but then I mixed working on it with other projects too. It's about 59 x 18 cm big on 21 stitches/inch Aida.

I'm always so amazed by people who stitch every single square!  (I'm lazy and don't fill in anything that's the background color)

This is absolutely incredible!

D: There's a mushroom house over there?!?!

And where does the path go after that? Is it just a random non-useful path?

Also, this is AMAZING and I've shown EVERYONE I KNOW in the past 5 minutes via email or messenger. You rock!
