My mum lent me a lot of old patterns she had and I tried one from style number 4473. Its a toddlers tunic - I made it in pale blue fleece and added red buttons. The edging was done on my overlocker in Navy.

I was really pleased with how its come out.

That is so darling! You did a great job on the overlocker... I can't maneuver turns!
Do you have a toddler who will wear that cute little number? It will look good on whomever wears it!
Thanks for sharing!

One of my friends has a two year old and she appears to have fallen in love with it so I might post it on to her - otherwise i'll probably send it to my neice. Her mum normally has her dressed in pink though so not sure if she'll appreciate it.  I could make one in pink i guess.

I hadn't done corners with overlocker before but got into the swing of it with this - one of the arm holes was a nightmare and i had to unpick and redo it about 3 times - i'm still not satisfied with how it looks but i think i need more practice.

Adorable. I wish my sister would go and have a kid already, so I can start making these cute things!
