I love making purses, it's so easy, and you don't have to worry about how good it will look on you...

The inside, I have four 'pockets' two on each side.

The other side.

And so you can get a size better, it's a bit big, actually perfect for a few school books, and the pockets will be great, might encourage me to take an on campus summer college class...

Now I just need to make a matched lined zipper pouch (they are so easy!)!
Thanks for looking!

I agree about the pockets--I just added some pen pockets to my purse (they always get lost down at the bottom!). And I enjoy your fabrics--brown and blue are so pretty together. (:

Your bag is the cutest!  I love polka dots (who doesn't) and brown.  Those inside pockets look really handy.  Mmmm I think I have the same sewing machine as you.

I love the pockets.  Who doesn't?  So much nicer to have a pocket for sunglasses, checkbook/wallet, keys, cell phone, work ID, etc.  Then the main part can hold a knitting project to work on or book to read while you're waiting ... I've heard that you spend 1/3 of your life waiting (for your turn at the ATM, at the dr., for the light to change ...) If that's true and you spend 1/3 of your life sleeping, no wonder I never feel like I have time to get anything done.  Smiley

We're not totally at the mercy of the wind, or of life.  Wind is essentially a chaotic phenomenon, but you can still sail in it.

Ya know I actually got the fabric at a thrift shop, more than 3 yards for 2bucks, it was awesome! Thanks so much for all the nice comments!
