Eek!  I love this!  Would it be weird to put it in a kid's room?   Huh

Ok I'd probably be a total weirdo and do it with Barbie arms for a kids room Smiley  Either way, as has already been determined, the driftwood counteracts the creepy!

I might try to do something like that too ^^
I'm curious though, are those barbie doll hands or baby doll hands?

it reminds me of that old old movie where the arms come out of the walls with lamps in the hands.  does anybody remember what movie that was?
i remember in the old charlie & the chocolate factory the hands took the coats and hats!
but it also reminds me of the helping hands in Labyrinth - when she falls down the shafT!

these hands look so gentle and keen to be helpful, very polite jewellery holder! Smiley

I love it! Thats totally not freaky-ish. Well, the only time it may  ;Dappear freaky-ish to me is if ever I woke up in the middle of the night. lol

I just made something similar but giant hands from plaster of paris to hold coats. I love this! Smiley Reminds me of the coat hooks in the original willy wonka. lol
