Well I was in three different yarn stores and didn't buy a thing. I thought I was doing so well then I came home and bought yarn online.
 
I bought the skein I needed to finish a project but so that I could justify spending so much on shipping I bought two skeins of lornas laces shepherd sock.  I don't even know how to knit socks!

Oi.

I think I'll be taking that acrylic button now.  What's lower than acrylic? hrmph.

donutgirl -- that's what I'm talking about! being exposed to yarn alone directly causes a latent yarn purchase.  Esp buying online and 'justifying shipping' -- ugh ugh, triple ugh! 

Well, SOMEBODY has to be acrylic with me.

Sorry all to break the ring up with blogspirit (my own incompetence, really), but I am totally working on a new website and I'll soon be able to adopt my Acrylic button and link to the ring properly!

ok  Im back!! I had a weird schedule this week so I didnt really knit or post on here. 

vysews, I will take that yarn of your hands for the paris loop (as long as you knit it at the same time as me! )

I have a dilemma:
I was thinking of taking a small knitting project out today but I hate what I started. Correction, I don't hate what I started but I do hate the yarn! I want a "one skein wonder" in red and cotton....hey I have that leftover red sugar'n'cream....wow this stuff sucks! I've only knitted a few rows and it feels nasty and looks wonky. Would it be terrible to throw this yarn away, instead of forcing myself to use it cause it's in my stash? I would gladly give it away if anyone wants it (just let me know). I have 2.5 skeins of it. I don't want to be wasteful, but I don't want to knit something I'm going to hate wearing or knitting! What do you think?
