I'm looking and looking, and am wondering: Did you use some kind of transparent paint, or a see-through stain (maybe watercolor?)? At first I thought that maybe you had used Diamond Glaze...

Ahh yeah, watercolor paints but no glaze. I guess it's because they weren't completely dry do they appear... wet?

After seeing your hearts, I made similar ones (out of the wedding announcements page haha) to decorate the envelopes for this year's valentines. Mine didn't come out quite as nice as yours tho!

It's the paint effect... the white lines that make them look 3D like. That's why they're so gorgeous!!
