I have had a very productive knitting weekend.

I finished my branching out scarf from knitty:

And this project that's been half done on the bottom of my knitting drawer FOREVER (it's cowl from cowl and howl in sNb, with no sleeves and the whole thing in the purl side of stockingette (is there a name for that?)) It's in casual cot'n from red heart, which is super soft and snuggly and pretty colored and CHEAP! yay!

cowls are fun!

And working on weaving in ends and putting buttons on my cardigan (a very modified go everywhere cardigan from sNb, with cables added, it's much more purple-y fushia in person). I like it! Too bad I didn't quite finish it in time for cool weather here in New York. I guess it'll just give me a reason to look forward to next winter.

hooray!!

All are lovely!  I really like the cowl sweater too.  That would be a great thing for me to wear to work under a suit.  I also like the cardi.  I was thinking about making a cardi w/ cables similar to that.  Thanks for sharing!

If you make one with cables, and you're adding them yourself, make sure you position them right on your breasts. I had to fudge the seams a lot to make it look like I didn't have a mutated chest cause my cables were way too far to the sides! I'm dumb!

Those are wonderful!  You look to be a fabulous knitter...I especially love the scarf, it's just so pretty (and the color is lovely too).

Gorgeous, gorgeous and gorgeous!  Oh, the cowl is beautiful and looks versatile-- casual or dressy.

That's just good old reverse stockinette stitch!
The yellow scarf is just lovely - great color choice, and so nicely made.

Everything is so beautiful! I like your version of the cardigan much better than the one in the book, and I'll have to keep my eye out for that red heart cotton yarn. Great job!!!!
