Good morning, Craftsters & Craftstettes!  A few months-ish ago I appealed to your Great Soaping Wisdom regarding the viability of flavored coffee as a scent in soap.  The answer I received (& can now verify) is that no, coffee flavor won't stick around in CP soap.  But it never hurts to try, especially when this is the yummy result:

I skirted away from fragrance oils (was an EO snob until recently, when I made the acquaintance of a heavenly brown sugar FO), so everything in this bar is as natural, save the flavored coffee (hazelnut, which didn't survive the cold process).  This batch was made with coffee, coffee grounds, coffee beans, cocoa powder, cinnamon, & cinnamon essential oil, plus olive oil that I'd infused with crushed coffee beans.  I'm a tea-drinker myself, but man, this is heavenly.

Still working on layering.  I'll get there someday.  Grin

Ooo, they certainly do look yummy.  I think I'd have to perpetually sniff myself if I used that soap
(and that coffee bag looks like the one's from my co-op!)

How lovely! It looks like it belongs in the Starbucks display case. Smiley

This is BEAUTIFUL and looks soo freaking good! I swear I can just taste it right now, minus the soap aspect of it. I agree with Nymeria - definitely looks like it could be one of those high-end pastries that is absolutely divine both on the eyes and the palate.

I've been looking into soap making for a while now and hope to get my first bars made sometime soon. Your bars are so beautiful they look edible!
