I discovered a great quilt shop in my city today...turns out it has been here for like 11 years  Shocked  Well, it's news to me!  I only got back into sewing about 2 years ago, so it's not entirely my fault I didn't know it existed Smiley  Yummy batiks, Amy butler fabric, and some gorgeous Asian inspired fabrics...so much for me to think about!  I was out shopping the entire afternoon so I didn't get a chance to pick out a pattern or fabric for my partner's bag yet, but tomorrow is another day!

I do that often too, only I don't make it out of a stiff cardboard. Just pin the paper to the fabric, trace the line, even out any weird spots if they happen, and cut. Then use that for the opposite piece too. It really works. Smiley

You know you have a problem when your boyfriend drags you out of the craft section at Wal-mart. It's the only section in that place that I love. My feet were literally sliding on their cold harsh cement floors.

I have the purse and two items done. Trying to narrow down my list for the other fun things to include.
