Gothic/Sweet Lolita Swap (CLOSED send out 01/20/2010)

Arg. I know Vinnie got her package today, so I have been eagerly waiting for the pics. I saw a new post and got my hopes up.

I got it late in the day yeatersay and the lighting here sucked. I'll post this eveningno matter what the weather. I can't wait fo reveryone to see what ojy sent me. So much awsome!

OK, tons of amazing pics of my package from ojy!

I got two different sets. The first is red and black and gothy. I got a super neat mini hat and lacey cuffs.




I also got a set of sweet loli in my theme of strawberrys. Strawberrys are a little inside joke in my house. L from Death Note hands a strawberry to one of the other investigators and says "you can have this if you can keep a secret" Then the cop puts the strawberry in his pocket. My husband and I thought this was so funny that it comes up in conversation all the time for no reason.... anyway...

A giant bow, a mask and a super cure purse!





And here is me being a ham. I'm grinning like an idiot though you can't see it.



There were also a couple little extras.
I Love the heart punch. It is for nori to decorate bentos. I can't wait to sneak some hearts in hubby's lunch. Also a little candy filled strawberry that matches everything else perfectly.



I was totally spoiled by ojy. She is an amzing swap partner. I wish I lived closer so I could give her a huge hug. *HUG* THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

I'm all about accessorizing. Can you tell? Okay, now to explain the few things I couldn't before without giving away too much.

First of all, the purse is wide enough across the bottom to hold your bento. I saw a bento bag on your want list and that was the first thing I decided to craft. It should actually be big enough to hold your bento and a standard size thermos.

Second, the little strawberry. I saw those in a candy crane at the pizza place in town, and my first thought was "those would make adorable sauce bottles for bento!" I spent a few quarters and managed to get two of em. One for you and the other my daughter stole. I still have to go back and try for a banana one for my yellow monkey bento. XD

(Does anyone else get the feeling I have bento on the brain too often? lol)


Now, the reason I was sad to send the red set, and why I am making another...

I just checked. My bentos do fit in it perfect, with just enough room for some extras. And I thought the same thing about making the little strawberry into a sauce bottle. I really don't think its bad to have so much bento on the mind.
